You should notice some significant improvements to the facility when you return in August. We have one more year of construction to go, but the building will be much improved when the work is completed. Opportunities for schedule changes will be limited to elective changes only (no core classes may be changed) and available only on the following dates:
9th Grade: July 31, 2025 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
12th Grade: August 1, 2025 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
11th Grade: August 4, 2025 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
10th Grade: August 5, 2025 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Once school is in session, schedule changes will only be made for the following reasons:
1. Student has completed the course, and it is posted on the student's transcript.
2. Student does not meet the requirements to be in the course.
3. A graduation requirement is not being met, and a schedule change is needed for on-track graduation status.

Starting the 2025-26 school year, Cheyenne High School will transition from an 8-period day to a 6-period day. This change promotes deeper learning and better student success and engagement.

The first day of school is Monday, August 11, 2025. Students who do not attend the first day of school will be recorded as a "No Show" and be withdrawn from Infinite Campus. Parents/Guardians must come to the school to reinstate their student. The student will then meet with their counselor to create a new schedule. There is no guarantee that the student's schedule will be the same, as some courses have limited availability.
